We support Local Non-Profit Organizations with Community Projects led by our Table Groups
Every Table Group will choose a non-profit organization to partner with and collaborate on a community initiative. This endeavor aims to facilitate interaction among our participating small business owners, helping them forge connections and expand their professional circle.
Additionally, it enables our community non-profits to meet their needs, generate resources, and promote their mission online and offline. We track the progress of each project and spread the news on Oregon Biz Buzz and facebook.
CULTIVATING HEALTHY KIDS, ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP, AND THE LOCAL ECONOMY Our Mission Rogue Valley Farm to School educates children about our food system through hands-on farm and garden programs, and by increasing local foods in school meals. We inspire an appreciation of local agriculture that improves the economy and environment of our community and the health of its members. Local Leaders in a Statewide Network Rogue Valley Farm to School is proud to serve as southern Oregon’s Regional Hub for Education and Procurement. Under the leadership of the Oregon Farm to School and School Garden Network, we work across the state with regional leaders to discuss best practices in the farm to school movement, policy and funding initiatives, annual gatherings, and more. Helping community cats is our passion! Melly Cat Rescue was founded in 2020, and became active in 2021. HELPING CHILDREN IN NEED SLEEP BETTER We fully believe that a bed is a basic need for the proper physical, emotional, and mental support that a child needs. When it was brought to our attention that the need for beds went far beyond our own neighborhoods, we stepped up and took initiative. We’re a national organization answering the call to a national problem. All children deserve a safe, comfortable place to lay their heads. In Idaho and across the U.S., too many boys and girls go without a bed – or even a pillow – to sleep on. These children end up sleeping on couches, blankets, and even floors. This can affect their happiness and health. That’s where Sleep in Heavenly Peace comes in. We’re a group of volunteers dedicated to building, assembling and delivering top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need.
